This 3-bedroom vacation rental house is located on beautiful Langford Lake only 10 minutes north of the city of Victoria, just before Goldstream Provincial Park. The house is situated on a very private ½ acre property only 40 ft off the lake. It has sunny exposure, is on a dead end road with a walking trail at the end of it circling the lake. The waterside view is only of trees, lake and eagles, as the other side of the lake is a park. Hiking and exploring at Goldstream Park is only minutes away, the park is also home to famous salmon spawn every fall. The wild and beautiful pacific coast beaches surround the area. If you are looking for city life, cosmopolitan dining, superb shopping, a world class museum, Butchart Gardens, whale watching, salmon fishing and much much more you will find it all within a 5 -15 minute drive. If you want to Golf, there are 3 top courses within 5 - 15 minutes of the house including the new "Bear Mountain" course.

The house is complete with a dock for fishing, swimming and boating (boats and lifejackets supplied). The lake is restricted to electric motors only so it is always quiet and peaceful. There is excellent trout and small mouth bass fishing. The lake is very clean and safe to swim in (Aug 2003 water temperature was between 74º - 78ºf.). Below the house there is a lakeside lawn and patio area, an excellent spot for family dinners or just sitting and watching the sunset or a bald eagle fishing out on the lake.

The House has 3 bedrooms with queen size beds, full kitchen, living room, 1 full bathroom, and a large downstairs recroom. There is a covered outdoor sitting area facing the lake. The house is decorated with lots of original art. The master bedroom, living room, and recroom all have large lake view windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, telephone, and lots of small appliances from food processor to coffeemaker. The living room has TV, cable, stereo etc. There is a full size washer/dryer in the laundry room along with an iron and ironing board. The lower floor recroom has 2 large lake facing windows along with chairs, a bar, and a ping-pong table. Outside there are lots of chairs, tables, along with a gas BBQ. With this house all you need to do is bring your clothes and you are home!
